THE FINAL DAYS OF PREPARATION: The final days before the wedding saw the preparations in full swing and the streets of Windsor buzzing in anticipation of the big day.

HARRY & MEGHAN: KINDRED SPIRITS: It was the most unexpected of royal matches, but whilst Harry and Meghan’s lives were world’s apart, they are kindred spirits.

THE ARRIVAL OF THE GUESTS, THE BRIDE AND GROOM: As the groom and guests arrived for the wedding service, Meghan broke with tradition and was escorted to St George’s Chapel by her mother Doria.

THE WEDDING SERVICE AT ST GEORGE’S CHAPEL: The wedding ceremony began at midday, conducted by the Dean of Windsor with the Archbishop of Canterbury officiating.

A WEDDING DRESS TO DEFINE THE TIMES: Leading bridal gown designer Caroline Castigliano gives her view on a wedding dress that has set a new direction for 21st century brides.

THE WEDDING PROCESSION THROUGH WINDSOR: Crowds lined the streets of Windsor Town and the Long Walk to celebrate with the newlyweds as they made the marriage procession in an historic Ascot Landau carriage.

THE EVENING RECEPTION AT FROGMORE HOUSE: To end a fantastic day in style, Harry and Meghan drove to Frogmore House in the grounds of Home Park,Windsor, in an electric 1968 silver blue Jaguar E-type on Saturday evening.

A RENAISSANCE OF THE HOUSE OF WINDSOR: The royal wedding was preceded by the Queen’s 92nd birthday and the birth of Prince Louis of Cambridge. 2018 is a year of celebration and renewal for the House of Windsor.
