Merry Christmas from William and Kate
Adding to the festive season spirit, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have released their latest family photo with Prince George and Princess Charlotte. The photograph was taken in late October at Kensington Palace. Both children exude contented happiness, George dressed in a pale blue cardigan and Charlotte in a pale lilac dress.
The family photo’s release coincides with the announcement from Kensington Palace that George will start nursery in January. The two and a half year-old will attend Westacre Montessori, near Anmer Hall, for a few days a week. The nursery confirmed the news: “We are looking forward to welcoming George to our nursery where he will get the same special experience as all our children.” Westacre Montessori School was rated “good” in its Ofsted report in June.
The nursery is nicely secluded, set in a private lane in East Walton, on the West Acre Estate. The village, which is 10 miles from Anmer Hall, is a tiny hamlet of little more than a handful of houses and a church surrounded by farmers’ fields. William and Kate are determined that George and Charlotte’s upbringing is normal, but they are also taking the greatest care with every step. Normal and idyllic are not mutually exclusive!
